The 12th Asian Ground Handling International Conference was held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 19th-21st March 2019. Pos Aviation are proud to be one of the special sponsors alongside with other international players such as Dnata, Swissport and many more. Over 360 delegates congregated at the conference and among those in attendance were 95 airlines representative from 40 carriers together with ground service provider, IT provider and GSE suppliers. As one of an independent and successful ground handler in Malaysia, CEO of Pos Aviation, Mr Woo Kam Weng has been invited to join speaker programs during the event. The 1st session, GHI Big Debate, kicked off on day one as panels discussed on How do Asian aviation stakeholders conquer the challenges around skills, infrastructure and collaboration that are crucial to keeping more than three billion passengers flying on time and safely by 2030. Second day highlighted the "Sharing Session by the Expert" where Mr Woo Kam Weng presented and discussed on ‘ Reinventing SLAs and rethinking KPIs to get more out of your ground handler. This session examined ground service agreements that have led to win:win outcomes for airlines and GSPs in terms of reducing ground damage, boosting OTP/bag offload times and pleasing passengers’. Pos Aviation have been committed in supporting this conference ever since and will continue to do so for the benefit of company and the aviation industry.
