Position – Passenger Service Officer

Job Description:

  •  To well manage passenger and ensuring customer satisfaction level is always high.
  •  To ensure operational adequacy at the check-in desk or at the gate.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the airport ground handling services within the authority.
  • Responsible to safeguard safety and security in his contacts.
  • To well manage passenger and ensuring customer satisfaction level is always high.
  • To ensure operational adequacy at the check-in desk or at the gate.
  • Process passengers and baggage in accordance to set procedures and airline requirement
  • Main task in translation for Airlines passenger, to listen, understand and interpret spoken conversation and or translate written documents from Japanese to English/ Bahasa Malaysia and vice versa.
  • Additional task: To act as a communication channel between Japanese passenger and and Passenger Handling staffs.
  • Responsible for documentation of conversations and discussions with clients where necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENT:
  • Candidate must possess at least Higher Secondary/ STPM/"A" Level/ Pre-U, Post Graduate Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/ Professional Degree in any field.
  • Required language(s): Japanese - Minimum Level NE 3 The ability to understand Japanese used in everyday situations to a certain degree (Verbal, Written & Reading is advantage) & English, Bahasa Malaysia.
  • At least below 1 Year of working experience in the related field (Customer Service & Third Language) is advantage for this position.
  • Value added if got experience or basic Aviation knowledge.
  • Required Skill(s): Intermediate in Japanese language, Customer service, Team work, Keen to explore knowledge and experience, Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel
  • Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Public Relations/Communications or equivalent.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in KLIA - Sepang, Selangor.
